This free augmented reality app is designed to work with the Blackbear the Pirate book. Hold your phone or tablet over the pages in the book to bring them to life in 3D! The characters and places in the book will come to life and tell the story!

The first time you run the app with ios 8 you will be prompted to allow the app to use the camera which is required for augmented reality to function. The screen will remain dark and you will need to restart the app in order to utilize the augmented reality feature. To restart the app, double tap the main Apple button, press on the picture of the app running and swipe it towards the top and it will unload the app. Press the Apple button again to return to the desktop. Tap on the app icon to restart the app. If you are unable to restart the app you can restart your device.
